So. Things. I've had some rough shit happen, but I don't want to talk about it so I'll focus on the good.

I've seen a ton of movies lately! I've seen Catching Fire, Frozen, and Madoka Magica Rebellion, and of course I'll be going to see Desolation of Smaug. I want to try to catch Thor 2, also, but kinda doubt if it'll happen.

So. Pretty much perfect here. I cried a lot. Especially when Cinna was taken away. When I read the books I wasn't entirely clear that he was going to be executed, since he was just knocked out and dragged off. I thought maybe he'd just be imprisoned. So I didn't freak out like I would've if I'd known. He's my favorite male character. So I bawled. I had to look away from him getting beaten up. I just couldn't deal.

Johanna, my overall favorite, was fucking spot on and that was the most important thing. I couldn't help but cheer at at least one of her lines. I just. I loved this movie. My only complaints would be that I feel like the scene with the two women in the woods who were looking for District 13 should've been left in, since the District 13 plotline is proooobably pretty fuzzy for movie-only fans. I had to explain the deal to my dad, I know that much. Also I don't get why Plutarch didn't show Katniss his watch when they danced. It would've been easy to keep that there and it felt like even leaving in the dancing at all was almost pointless without that. But those are literally my only complaints.

Also I am in love with Effie and her actress. And mahogany.

Oh. My god. I'm so glad I didn't let my concerns about the stupid snowman keep me from this movie. I was going to see it no matter what because Idina Menzel, but I was blown away. I loved everything about it. Even the stupid snowman. Olaf's scenes were actually well written humor, not stupid shit. And the scene where he melts a little in order to keep Anna near the fire just. Feels. Elsa, though. Elsa is why I love the movie. She's such an excellent character and Idina was perfect for the role and I just. I need to get better at sewing so I can cosplay her.

Oh also I loved the Hans plot. LOVED IT. Yes thank you actual feudal politics. And re; "weh weh romance", Kristoph and Anna were cute together and that was a background thing. I mean come on he didn't even get to save her with his ~twu wuv kiss~. I was a dork and made lesbian incest jokes, but the whole nonromantic sisterly bond thing was excellent. Also I just. Loved how Elsa could touch Anna at the end of the movie without being afraid. All in all A++ movie haters can suck my dick.

Loved it. Loved the ending. Take yo hate elsewhere. Adored the Kyoko/Sayaka. Cake song is my new favorite thing ever. Loved the demon Homura a lot. Love everywhere no hate only mild disappointment that Nagisa didn't do more.

Also I like how what Homura does in the end pretty much confirms my feelings on Homura and how she's not the perfect wondeful lesbian idol that fandom makes her out to be, and she's pretty messed up. I actually like the HomuMado dynamic better this way.

But I still ship Madoka with Mami and nothing can stop me and the teensy bits of interaction between them made me gleeful. Not as much as Kyoko/Sayaka being pretty much canon, but still. And speaking of which, I no longer have to admit to my OTP being onesided because it's NOT anymore and this pleases me greatly.

In other news, I am getting a tattoo soon. Like, over winter break. I've emailed a tattoo artist for a price quote and I'm just. So excited. It'll be the f holes of a violin on my lower back. I've been practicing my violin more, lately, and I'm sure getting this will encourage me. And I've wanted a tattoo for so long that this is pretty much the most exciting thing.

Thanks :3 I'm really big on them. I've wanted one for a long time, but I've always felt like it'd be pointless because of my weight. It's really exciting to finally feel okay to do it.
